The Neighbourhood Renewal Scheme (NRS) is a city-wide initiative which aims to address local regeneration priorities. The programme delivers regeneration projects put forward by Local Members. Projects are designed and developed in partnership with local residents, community groups and agencies to address an identified need or problem.
Following ideas put forward by Local Ward Members and comments received during the public engagement in 2024, Cardiff Council are pleased to announce the opening of the new skatepark at Parc Coed y Nant.
The skatepark was formally opened in Summer 2025. New seating and bins are due to be added in Spring 2026.
