An environmental improvement scheme was recently completed at Merches Place and Pentre Place.

Improvements included:

  • Pedestrian safety and speed calming improvements to Merches Place
  • New planters
  • New paving
  • Resurfacing of Pentre Place
  • Residential street with terraced buildings, parked cars and clear road markings, viewed toward the sun under a partly cloudy sky.
  • Tall leafy tree on a widened pavement with bollards, against a bright blue sky, with residential buildings and parked vehicles nearby.
  • Sunlight filters through street trees onto a wide pavement beside red brick houses, with bollards and parked cars along the road.
  • Curved residential road with new paving, double yellow lines, bollards and wooden planters, in front of Victorian terraced houses.
  • Small paved public space with mature trees in soil beds, surrounded by bollards, with cars parked along the street beyond.
