This project has been completed.

Pedestrian footway beneath a railway bridge, with a long stone retaining wall on one side and overhead steel bridge structure. Wall-mounted lighting runs along the length of the underpass, leading towards the street beyond.

An environmental improvement scheme was recently completed at Clare Road and Taff Embankment Bridges.

Improvements included:

  • New under bridge lighting
  • Art plaques showcasing past and present local landmarks and events
  • Resurfacing of Clare Road and pavement under the bridge
