Taff Embankment underpass

Calibre have been appointed as principal contractor to deliver the above regeneration scheme at both Clare Road and Taff Embankment Bridges. Works include new lighting at both Clare Road and Taff Embankment, as well as footway and road surfacing at Clare Road.

Cast-iron floor plaques will also be installed under the bridges, showcasing past and present local landmarks and events, produced by a local artist.

Works will commence on 9th February 2026 and will last approximately 6 weeks. Access to properties will be maintained at all times and disruption for residents kept to a minimum.
