Cardiff Council recently completed environmental improvements to Rhiwbina Village Shops as part of the Neighbourhood Renewal Scheme (NRS) Programme.

The improvements included:

  • Resurfacing the parking bays on the eastern carriageway
  • Repaving the eastern pavement
  • Resurfacing western pavements with a resin finish
  • Resurfacing the entrance to rear access lane adjacent to Coop, including provision of tactile paving
  • Additional cycle stands, bins and planters
  • Bus stop marking refreshing
  • New community notice board at Rhiwbina village and Heol Llanishen Fach and Pantmawr Road
  • New benches, planters and notice board at the shops on Heol Llanishen Fach.
  • Replacement bollards at Y Groes, including additional bollards along the north eastern boundary
