This project has been completed.
Funding was secured from Welsh Government, in partnership with Cardiff Council to deliver external improvements to commercial premises on Tudor Street in Riverside. This project forms part of a wider action plan for regeneration in the business areas of South Riverside.
The overall objective of the commercial improvement scheme was to enhance the commercial premises to enable the Tudor Street Local Centre to develop as a shopping destination for local residents as well as the wider community.
The following improvements were included in the scheme:
- Shopfronts
- Shutters
- Signage and lighting
- Rainwater goods
- Replacement residential windows
- Repairs to external render/brickwork, stone cleaning, and decoration (if rendered)
Current status
The shopfront installation and building enhancement works have now been completed.
The highway improvement works are nearing completion and it is hoped that the street will fully reopen shortly.
