Cardiff Council is proposing to undertake environmental improvements to Rhiwbina Village Shops as part of the Neighbourhood Renewal Scheme (NRS) Programme.

The improvements will include:

  • Resurfacing the parking bays on the eastern carriageway
  • Repaving the eastern pavement
  • Resurfacing western pavements with a resin finish
  • Resurfacing the entrance to rear access lane adjacent to Coop
  • Additional cycle stands, bins and planters
  • New community notice board
  • Bus stop marking refreshing

We are also proposing a new community notice board on Pantmawr Road and new benches, planters and notice board at the shops on Heol Llanishen Fach.

Works will begin on 16th February, 2026 and last approximately 6 weeks.
