Cardiff Council is planning to upgrade the play equipment at Chorley Close, Fairwater, as part of the Neighbourhood Renewal Scheme Programme (NRS) that delivers improvement projects suggested by local Councillors.

  1. New accessible swingset with basket swing, toddler swing and flat swing for older children / teens.
  2. New bouldering / climbing apparatus- honeycomb & bee themed.
  3. Bee themed spring toy.
  4. New flower themed accessible roundabout.
  5. Refurbished see-saw.
  6. Honeycomb themed in ground trampolines.
  7. Wide embankment slide.
  8. Flower themed talking tubes for sensory play.
  9. Honeycomb patterned surfaces for imagination play – you can even follow the bee trail doing the ‘waggle dance’.
