As part of the Neighbourhood Renewal Scheme Programme (NRS), environmental and access improvements have been completed at Westwinds Court, Llanishen.

These improvements aim to improve safety, drainage, accessibility, and the overall appearance of the area for residents and visitors.

The works were shaped by feedback from local residents and councillors, with a strong focus on addressing long‑standing maintenance issues while creating a more functional and pleasant public environment.

The improvements included:

  • Resurfacing of existing car parking bays to resolve water pooling issues, restoring full use of the parking spaces for residents
  • Footpath resurfacing to improve safety, accessibility and overall appearance
  • Upgraded and additional street lighting to enhance visibility and personal safety
  • Cutting back overgrown trees and vegetation to improve access, sightlines and the overall streetscape

These works reflect the Council’s commitment to improving neighbourhood environments, promoting community pride, and encouraging active use of shared public spaces.
